Rooted in the timeless terrain of mythology yet reimagined through an intensely personal lens, Shabir’s works draw from a lifetime of reading, meditative solitude, and artistic rigour. Created in the quietude of his East Delhi studio, these luminous compositions weave fragments of universal myths with intimate reflections, transforming the painted surface into a site of spiritual dialogue. His mastery as a colourist—shaped by an inherited legacy yet entirely his own—infuses each canvas with a palpable energy, where abstraction and figuration coalesce effortlessly. This special gallery collection, reflecting his lifelong engagement with myth, memory, and landscape, is being displayed at their gallery in DLF South Court Mall, Saket, New Delhi till June 30th, 2025.
