Every year we compile a list of Staff Favorites. We try to avoid “Best Of” lists as appreciation for the arts is so subjective and eveyone has a different opinion.
For her recent solo exhibition titled “New Hours” at James Fuentes, Josephine Halvorson painted a seemingly random collection of things–a colorful street-side neighborhood library, a damaged wooden sign on train tracks, a lone yellow fire hydrant in the desert.
