Over the years, Area35 has presented exhibitions featuring both emerging and established artists while maintaining a strong commitment to curatorial research and cultural production. Recent activities have expanded the gallery’s international presence through projects connecting Italy, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Monaco. In 2025, Area35 co-produced the exhibition A New Horizon Unfolds. Venice, Riyadh and the Legacy of Marco Polo at L’Art Pur Foundation in Riyadh, under the patronage of the Embassy of Italy in Saudi Arabia and the Società Dante Alighieri. The project featured works by Federico Garibaldi, Florencia S.M. Brück, and Manuel Bonfanti. Artists represented or promoted by Area35 have exhibited at institutions and venues including Le Stanze della Fotografia in Venice, the European Cultural Centre during the Venice Biennale, Fondazione Giorgio Cini, Palazzo Firenze in Rome, Triennale Milano, UniCredit Pavilion, and international museums, foundations, and cultural centres across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Beyond its exhibition programme, Area35 operates as a platform for cultural exchange, supporting collaborations between artists, institutions, collectors, foundations, and international partners. The gallery maintains a particular interest in projects that connect contemporary artistic practice with architecture, heritage, technology, and cross-cultural dialogue.
