About ideelArt

In 2014, when the prevailing wisdom held that art acquisition required physical presence, ideelArt's founders Christelle Thomas (CEO) and Francis Berthomier (Co-founder and former CEO of Widewalls.ch) set out to challenge this notion. They envisioned a new paradigm: an "online first" approach to art distribution.
Recognizing the robust growth of the online art market - consistently achieving double-digit annual increases - they strategically focused their efforts on digital innovation.
And it worked!
As of July 2024, IdeelArt ranks 19th worldwide in Artland's Online Top 100 list, placing it alongside renowned institutions such as David Zwirner, Perrotin, and Thaddaeus Ropac.
